Simon G's strong industry reputation rests on two strengths: They design some of the most innovative and intriguing jewelry in the nation, and are noted for their total commitment to their customers' satisfaction - retailer and consumer alike. They offer a broad selection of classic and contemporary designer jewelry for consumers who seek the highest quality at affordable prices. Each piece we make reflects their belief that jewelry is not only a statement of fashion but is also an extension of the person who wears it.

Fashion is the focus at Simon G. Jewelry, where fine-quality, contemporary, diamond-set jewelry is a specialty. At Simon G., all 14k, 18k and platinum pieces are finished with pride. Interior surfaces are as polished and embellished as exterior surfaces. Simon G.'s classic styling moves with the busy modern woman from the casualness of comfortable sweats to the understated elegance of a strapless black dress. Lazare Diamonds is the world's largest manufacturer of ideal cut diamonds. Like the world's most prestigious brand names, the name Lazare does not merely designate a product of exceptional quality and integrity, it also represents a standard of excellence by which all other similar products are judged. As the first branded diamond ever to be introduced, the Lazare Diamond® has certainly earned this honorable distinction.

Proudly renowned as "The World's Most Beautiful Diamond™," Lazare Diamonds have been cut to ideal proportions by highly skilled artisans for nearly a century. The ideal cut is based on a complex mathematical formula that measures a diamond's many angles and proportions with exacting precision. This produces a diamond of unparalleled brilliance, sparkle and fire - The Lazare Diamond.

Considering the quality and beauty of Lazare Diamonds, it was a logical step for Lazare to introduce The Lazare Diamond Jewelry Collection. This dazzling collection features exclusive designs set in 18 karat gold and platinum, ranging from traditional engagement and bridal jewelry to fashion accessories for day and evening wear. Spectacular, one-of-a-kind pieces can often be seen at the world's finest jewelers or worn by some of Hollywood's most famous celebrities.

The story starts, of course, with young, talented Kurt Gutmann himself, the son of a banker in pre-war Germany. Wanting to be a jeweler instead of a banker, he worked hard to earn a rare and highly prized apprenticeship with the prestigious German jewelry company Giuseppe Knoll. Afterwards, he decided to concentrate on the Italian market, opening many new and successful fine jewelry accounts. When the totalitarian flames spread through Europe, Kurt first moved to Cuba, then New York, entering the U.S. Army. At the war's end, in 1945, he returned to Europe as an American citizen, where he renewed old acquaintances and was eager to import their high quality gold jewelry to the U.S. Although that is commonplace today, back then he was breaking new ground.

Kurt Gutmann was highly successful and the company steadily grew. Since Kurt's retirement in 1982, it has continued its strong growth. And in 1991, the company introduced Gemhancibles, an exceptionally popular collection that has now become its best selling product line. The Gemhancibles Collection features beautifully sculpted gold and gemstone slides for the various sizes of omega chokers. The interchangeable gems, colors and shapes easily allow one to create a variety of stylish looks.

The current product mix includes chokers, bracelets, earrings, and other gold accessories in both 14kt and 18kt, and the Gemhancible Collection in mainly 18kt gold. This fine array of jewelry, coupled with strong service and support, has been responsible for the company's exceptional growth during the past five years and its subsequent new, larger offices in Newtown, Pennsylvania. A comprehensive marketing support program, including a four color catalog, is continually updated to the increasing needs of its customers.
